NEW! Now Jointly Offering Holistic Healing Training by Dr. Buathon

Dr. Buathon Thienarrom, Founder of Sukkasart Institute of Healing Arts and a holistic practitioner, and Saga Fitness have formed a joint venture to provide her powerful method of healing, ZenNaTai, to therapists, Destination Spas and others searching for alternative therapies and concepts to further enhance the spa experience for their clients, guests and themselves.

Dr. Buathon served as Medical Manager and Chi Nei Tsang Practitioner at the renowned Chiva-Som Health Resort in Thailand. Following her successful work and accomplishments there, she continued her extensive studies and training in holistic / alternative medicine through Taoism, Chi Nei Tsang, Meditation, Posture Training and Thai traditional medicine. Through her comprehensive background in nursing, her Masters Degree in Counseling and Ph.D on Health Sociology she understands the fine balance between alternative and modern medicine, and also the need for harmony between body and mind to achieve personal and spiritual wellbeing.

After several years of working as a holistic practitioner Dr. Buathon developed her own healing technique, ZenNaTai, an integration of healing techniques found in Traditional Chinese Medicine. ZenNaTai – The Transformation Touch – is the Touch that guides the mind to be free and empty and therefore allows the energy to flow. As the body and mind is one, the method promotes a state of wellbeing by also integrating simple breathing techniques to generate energy and its circulation around the body’s energy channels, thus vitalizing the body as a whole.

This is a most comprehensive approach to energize, strengthen and detoxify the internal systems, embracing the holistic approach and treating the person as a whole.

Part of the treatment by the therapists for the participant is guidance on proper breathing, visualization and understanding and knowledge of energies and one’s power to use these to heal oneself and become actual and active practitioner.

Among Dr. Buathon’s corporate and destination health retreat clients where ZenNaTai and other therapies have been introduced and successfully administered and continue to be her clients are : The Mandarin Oriental Spa, Hong Kong, One&Only, Maldives, Six Senses Spas, YaiYa Spa and Resort, Thailand, Damai / Grand Hyatt, Singapore.

Seminars will be offered periodically to train therapists, Destination Spas and others who are searching for alternative therapies and concepts to further enhance the spa experience for their clients, guests and themselves. Please be sure to get on our mailing list so you are assured of early notification when these popular seminars are announced.

Concept Planning

Concept and criteria development for the property are essential to best serve the purpose and need of a hotel, resort or day spa, and the layout and circulation patterns must efficiently serve all program components. Destination spas are planned with their specific requirements and concepts for progressive, long-term stays. Program components are developed to include appropriate services, therapies, signature concepts, activities, fitness and beauty concepts, and overall spa menu. This will in turn allow decisions to be made as to equipment specifications and technical information for all specialized hydrotherapy-, beauty-, fitness and other therapy equipment.

In reviewing the viability of a project, each situation is assessed not only from financial needs for the clients, but the entire function and structure of the project in order to develop an in-depth understanding of their requirements, and therefore enhance its productivity and profitability.

Our financial feasibility study may include the development of estimated preliminary project costs (excluding construction cost), first five year operating pro-forma, including preliminary spa menu development, estimated revenues and operational expenses; budget developments, such as FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment) budget, pre-opening and operations budgets.
